I took these photos with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12). I edited the photos in Snapseed (Android application).

Beautiful… love bird of preys. Painted 2 of them. A hawk and a black kite.
I checked your black kite painting. You have very good painting skills. That is almost like a photo. Currently I cannot paint, but I have not even tried it so far. Maybe once or twice, either in the elementary school, or in the middle school. Recently I started to learn to draw, so I am a beginner, even at drawing.

I started with my art in 2011 as self taught, but had unfortunately lots of breaks in between. Moves to be precise. Will start something new after the holidays. Probably a drawing to get into it again.

Thank you. I see that you are from France. You can probably also own, keep and breed a Harris's hawk. I am not really familiar with the French law, but in Hungary, anyone can own, keep and breed a Harris's hawk, while people in the USA need a falconer license and maybe even a special government permission.

I see that you are from Colorado. If you would like to own, keep or breed a Harris's hawk, then you need a falconer license and maybe a special government permission. This is the law in the USA. I am not really familiar with it. I am from Hungary, and everyone can own, keep and breed a Harris's hawk in this country, so we have different laws about this bird.

The photos are edited, but her feathers are naturally red and brown, and the tail feathers are white.
