News from the chicken coop

Today again news from the chicken coop))) It so happened that I spent the whole day placing my yesterday's replenishment. Our guard, the rooster Kudah-Tah-Tah, watched my actions with interest. Perhaps he was a little worried if all this would affect the comfort of his own family, because he and his two chickens, Ginger and Oscar, have the largest aviary. On the other hand, he probably did not mind at all that his family was replenished with a few more young chickens.

But these new hens are still too young, and they are of a completely different breed. Nevertheless, I assured Kudah-Tah-Tah that I would take into account his wishes. And he has every chance! After all, Lucinda is now hatching eggs from bantam hens.

So, four chickens of a Chinese downy teenager occupied a neighboring enclosure. What was my surprise when I came to check them and found them in the aviary with adult chickens! Here is the trick! They're not chickens, they're magicians! I couldn't understand how they did it. And then, right before my eyes, one of the chickens just went through the net of the enclosure! They were so tiny that they could easily do it! I had to stretch an additional finer mesh in this place.

All these events did not affect Pierre and Josephine in any way. In general, I think that the seller somewhat underestimated their age. I decided not to disturb them, not to add anyone to them and not to relocate them anywhere. They get along well with each other, let them live their usual lives.

The most difficult relationship I have so far is with Sultan. It is very beautiful, but not at all handmade. And today it was very difficult for me to decide which place for a walk to allocate for him. At first, I wanted to put him in a large aviary. But there is a serious risk that I will not catch him in the evening and then both my neighbors and I risk getting a cock concert at 4 in the morning. After some thought, I decided to cover it with a large cage for the time being. I hope that in a few days, he will get used to the fact that in the evening I take him to his place in the chicken coop and then I can let him out for a walk in a large aviary.
