Wow! See the way the mother is looking very vigilant like if she sees any wanderer she'd gun them down with her beaks @sanjeevm ...and I see the little almost-featherless fellas 😊 so cute. I remember last month I piblished a post on that kind of little birds hatched in a hollow of a tree on my compound.
I think the reason why mother birds use the beak to feed their little one is to break it down into tiny bits which the littke ones beak could pick.
