I am a pure amateur drone pilot and my mind is very curious to always learn, so a very cool observation I made is the birds seems sort of impressed when I throttle up. Maybe they think my drone is more powerful than them in my opinions and they can't do fasts ascends & descends like the drones apparently. So, they sort of back off and pause and observe for a few secs before bailing out the chase. Super cool when I can anticipate their presence and throttle up or hard descend is the way to avoid disastrous collisions. It seems when piloting evasively sideways, they will tend to fight more and they are way more agile in this perspective. Birds are very interesting.

That is quite interesting observation. Birds are very clever, but drones are new for them and they also learn. Have you got photos of birds made with the drone?
I wish i had taken photos. But in the fire of the action, evasive manœuvres was more of a priority. But I did wish to have been able to film the attacks that would be so interesting to watch.
