SMaP 155 - Lucky Shot

in Feathered Friends7 months ago

I would like to say thank you to dear @nelinoeva for this competition. You can find the announcement and rules here.

This week's theme is - Lucky Shot

In late autumn, in a coniferous forest, I met Nutcracker. She dug in the ground, flew through the trees, and all this time I was taking photos, and it so happened that a bird with a pine nut sat on a branch and managed to take a photo that practically personifies this bird.

One of my favorite photos. A small flock of goldfinches were eating thistle seeds and they were having such a good time that I managed to get closer and take this photo.

And in this photo I accidentally managed to capture the funny face of this jay. She watched as I treated the nuthatches and tits.

I was lucky enough to photograph a whole family of these linnets. The father of the family fed his kids.

Long-tailed tits are incredibly adorable, I photographed them a lot, but I was only able to capture such a cute facial expression once.

This is truly a lucky shot. These birds are literally invisible, they are not really visible when they are on the ground, they merge with it thanks to the color of their feathers. But then suddenly I saw how this swinhoe's snipe climbed onto a log.

And in this lucky shot I managed to capture both a tundra redpoll and a common redpoll, and for some reason the common one has an orange cap.
