π¦ The little bunting (Emberiza pusilla)
π Emberiza embritz (Old German) bunting
π pusilla pusillus (lat.) very small, tiny

Not just because this bird is called small. She is one of the smallest in her Emberizidae family.
I meet these birds every year in the bushy zone on the river bank, and only after the river becomes shallow and bushes and a sandy bank appear. As for the time, they can be found even in October, when it is already cold

But it's hard for me to photograph them. As soon as the bird sees the approaching danger, it immediately falls silent and hides deep into the bushes. And quietly imperceptibly, as it were, makes his way to the "other exit" and tries to fly away to other bushes

Attractive contrasting head pattern with slight pale eye ring making it most appealing in it's overall look.
Tiny flying tiger π
By the way, that's a great comparison.π
