Herons are amazing. Such graceful creatures. One of just a handful of bird species that I could enjoy watching both in the tropics as well as here in my cold Central European homeland :)

Thank you! Indeed they are; love these medium dark grey ones, saw similar ones in São Tomé. Too bad we don't have them here... althought I don't mind travelling to see them! ;) !BBH
