She is not a wild hawk. She is from a breeder. And we (my hawk and me) love each other. I often give her food by hand. She takes it from my hand. I literally live and sleep with her. She is very friendly and very intelligent.
But this is not a big surprise knowing that Harris's hawks are the only social predatory birds. So they live and hunt in groups in nature. This is why people often call them the wolves of the air.
