A Happy wet Friday.

At last, a real soaking rain has arrived today after the song of the birds.

The young Sugarbird couple was singing their version of the Annie Lennox song; Here comes the rain again.

They knew that it would rain the next day and they sang the first verse together:
Here comes the rain again, falling on my head like a memory. Falling on my head like a new emotion. I want to walk in the open wind. I want to talk like lovers do. Want to dive into your ocean, is it raining with you?

The girl at the left sang the chorus, while the boy at the right listened:
So, baby talk to me. Like lovers do. Walk (fly) with me. Like lovers do. Talk to me. Like lovers do.

Then they were both singing again:
Here comes the rain again. Raining in my head like a tragedy. Tearing me apart like a new emotion. I want to breathe in the open wind. I want to kiss like lovers do. Want to dive into your ocean. Is it raining with you?

The girl at the left pulled off the chorus like a real soprano and you can even see her tongue. The guy at the right, was so stunned that his mouth was hanging open.
So, baby talk to me. Like lovers do. Walk (fly) with me. Like lovers do. Talk to me. Like lovers do.

And then they finally both waited for an encore and clap of hands from us.

They flew off to another tree, and the mom above came in to join the loving couple.

Then they all took off to go and do another show somewhere else.

Finally here we were on the road early this morning and it was raining in case I didn't tell you.

Just a lighthearted post, as we are so happy that the rain has finally arrived. We awoke to the sound of rain this morning, and that sound is so alluring that it wants to keep one in bed. But then again we had to start early this morning, so we were forced to get out of bed.
The great thing, for me at least, is that the rain will start to fill the flamingo lake and after one more rain the masses of flamingos will arrive. My camera cannot wait for the party to start, as we get both lesser and greater flamingos in the lake that I will soon show you.
