Some of our wild birds here to show you their beauty.
It was my first time to get out this morning and still a bit shaky, but I enjoyed it very much. We only went a short distance to one of the wine farms where we had some coffee and then we took a short walk in the gardens.
Thankfully we went early directly after my blood tests and the place started filling up with visitors, so we left and came home.
I hope that you know the Malachite Sunbird (Nectarinia famosa) by now and I got some great colors here.
Even a little Southern Double-collared Sunbird (Cinnyris chalybeus) came to sit on the Strelitzia flower. The Malachite is the biggest of the sunbirds and the Double-collared is the smallest, with many other species of sunbirds in between these two in size.
This is a couple of Cape BulBul birds (Pycnonotus capensis) enjoying the early morning sun.
Another cute shot of the BulBuls and I will show you their preparation for breakfast routine in another post.
Finally just something to lighten up your Friday thoughts.
Life is what it is and we have the choice to smile, or to frown.
Here we have our short Friday trip my friends and it was certainlly a delight to get out for a bit again today. Who knows, as after I have been to the doctor again this afternoon at 2pm, we might also do a short stop and walk at the beach. In any case, as usual I tried here to show you some beauty in the hope that I could get some smiles.
Such is life.
And That's All Friends.

So beautiful and glad you were able to get out for a while take it easy and wishing you a full recovery my friend
Thank you kindly and we will have to wait until we get to see the results of the heart rhythm machine that I will get to wear for 72 hours next week. It seems at this stage that I have an irregular heart beat that causes all of the trouble.
I think I know the machine I had to wear one for 48 hours a year or two ago
Praying and hoping it gives good results or points to a good way of treatment and recovery
Ah, so you know the machine and I hope that your results were good
They are suspecting what I already know. Irregular heart beat as it is in my family on the male side.
I don't know if it can be treated and I really hope that they will not give me more pills to take.
Thank you for the prayers mate.
Yeah I was lucky mine came out fine
I know Lulu can relate not wanting more pills after her time in hospital she is on so many but last week she had a vascular scan that was all clear so she was taken off one of her many meds
Prayers fir you my friend
Lucky indeed and I share Lulu's dislike for pills.
Every one less to take brings great relief and mine has also been cut down by one or two.
Still it's a lot to take everyday and I feel that I have morphed into a chemical existence.
I think that I don't want to get much older if I have to rely on a mountain of pills just to breathe 🤣
You guys also remain in our prayers and thank you.
Ohh yeah even thought I don’t take many pills myself I feel it is to many lol
