It's getting warmer outside. There are more sunny days. Today I was walking through the park and on the river bank I saw a jackdaw apparently looking for food and constantly fiddling with a plastic bag. Here along the road they sell various food and people buy it and often throw the packages into trash cans. The birds pull out these bags from there and begin to look for leftover food there.
Apparently the bags smell delicious and the birds think there is food there. They fiddle with these bags and want to find pieces of food for themselves.
This jackdaw was apparently hungry and therefore she spent a long time looking for food crumbs in the bag. She tried to tear it apart, constantly tossing it with her beak and tearing the bag apart with her paws.
It was very funny to watch how she fiddled with this bag and tried to fish out at least crumbs of food from there. She was alone on the path and was not afraid that other birds would want to take her prey from her.
But apparently there was very little food and she was constantly looking for something in the snow. She probably expected that crumbs of food would fall out of the bag onto the snow.
She was so carried away. that she apparently forgot that there were other bags with leftover food in the trash can.
Having found nothing in the bag, she began to examine the snow next to the bag and apparently found not much food for herself there.
