Fieldfare in the forest

Many Fieldfare have appeared this spring. There weren't many of them last spring. Thrushes are not very shy. If you do not make sudden movements, but approach them on the sly, you can get quite close.
Now the fFieldfare lying from one tree are singing their songs Their loud chirping can be heard quite far away.
I have not seen so far that they made nests. But sometimes I see Fieldfare holding large worms or insects in their beaks and at the same time sitting on branches for a long time. Perhaps they want to treat their girlfriend with whom they decided to have chicks. Or maybe he just isn't hungry and thinks where to hide his prey.
Although now there is often a strong wind in the daytime, there are still a lot of Fieldfare . The noise of their wings is clearly audible when they fly by.
Sometimes Fieldfares can be seen in the glades. They walk along the still small grass and look for something on the ground. But as soon as one of the thrush makes a loud sound, they all immediately fly up onto the branches of the trees.

А у нас вот странность с ними, в этом году их гораздо меньше чем дроздов-белобровиков.

А у нас в прошлом году было мало. Видно не прилетели.

Great shots! I am happy to hear that you are seeing a lot of them this year. You made me realize that I have not seen a single thrush this spring. I hope our weather warms up so that it is more comfortable for me to be outdoors. I'm sure I am missing good bird photos!

Many thanks. Blackbirds have just appeared in our country. I hope that when it gets warmer they will appear for you.
