How to thread in Leo Finace

Hello friends!

#Featheredfriends landed on Leo Finance Threads.

On behalf of our community I received generously donated LP (Leo power) to curate the Threads on Leo Finance. Thank you very much @khaleelkazi. I want to thank again @anomadsoul for onboarding the Feathered Friends Community.

Why Threads?

In my announcement post I did not say much, because it was new matter for me. I am learning how and what, so let me share with you how to use the Threads as I can see it.

But first to answer the above question.

• It is a short post, where upvotes are monetized and you will receive both Leo and Hive.
• Being short (you are limited to 240 characters), well sometimes you want to say only a few words and not to write a long story.
• There is no limit how many Threads per day you will post, but anyhow be wise and don't spam.
• It is great to promote your posts or your friends' posts.
• Interaction with others is easy and you can be more engaged. Thus you will find more friends.
• If your Thread is about birds and you use these tags #featheredfriends #birds #birding, I will give you a nice upvote thanks to the delegated LP.
• We can make #featheredfriends community more popular.
• If you have just one photo you took and want to show it and to say just few words, Threads are what you need.
• the list can continue... especially knowing the Threads are still developing and new features are/will be introduced.

To use Threads it is better to have installed Hive Keychain either as desktop extension or mobile app for phones and tablets.

If you use PC, go to https://alpha.leofinance.io/threads and you will see something like this.

Scroll and look at the bottom left corner where I outlined the arrow.

Click and you are promped to log with your Hive user.

And you are ready to start threading.

Easy peasy, but what if you use mobile devices, like me? That is how I manage it on my tablet. I could not start the keychain, but the frontend - https://leofinance.io/threads worked for me. There you can log like any other frontend.

Click on Thread and you can post.

Search the Threads from the list to the right. Soon there will be filters and much more easy to find what you need.

And finally my experience with the smartphone. I installed the Hive Keychain app and within the app, there is an option to open browsers. I add alpha.leofinance.io and here are the screen shots:

The phone is very convenient to scroll down the latest threads and to vote and comment. Somehow I failed uploading images, so this is something I will try to figure out. I love the way the notifications appear.

There is a new feature, just introduced but only if you are in alpha.leofinance.io - polls. It looks also very easy and I will try it soon.

Hope this was helpful in some way and you will start using Threads if you haven't already.

I would love to see more Threads about birds, but of course once you start, you will find that you can post about anything.
