Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,

We have seen birds on fences, on rooftops, sand, water and now let us see on branches and even better on top branches. This is an idea suggested by @deerjay. Thank you @deerjay, this is awesome theme for the contest.

I challenge you to show me this week:

TOP BRANCH BIRDS

Birds on trees are sometimes hard to photograph especially when there is thick foliage and the leaves cover the place where the bird is perching. In other times the bare trees can be also not the best scene as the bird would be just behind the branch or twig.

But how about the bird perching on the top of the tree or shrub.

This greenfinch was singing so loud and proudly perched on the top of the tree.

Doves love to be high above and this one did not want to turn around. Do you remember, we had such round about birds bottoms? Don't delete your photos of birds showing their back and in particular their bum. I am going to repeat this theme at some point.

Another dove from another day, gloomy and windy.
