Hello community, today I want to share with you the following photos, although they are few photos the truth is that it took me a long time to shoot them, the bird in question has the scientific name Icterus gularis, but in Spanish we know it simply as Calandria, or calandria de dorso negro, I don't know the name in English.
Of course I may be wrong about the scientific name or its identification, you know I am not an expert and I am learning on the go as I take a new photograph.
This is a bird that I have been able to observe a lot in the area where I live, and as we can see, its diet may be based on small insects and worms that it collects from the branches of the trees.
As main picture I leave you the last picture I took of the bird, actually it was the only one of the whole series that I liked, I took many pictures but most of them were out of focus or simply when I took the picture the bird had already flown and was in another place, I leave you three pictures so you can see what I mean, the good thing about the mistakes is that each time I got closer to my goal, the main image of the post, see you.
The bird pictures you show are very beautiful, the colors are very beautiful.
European Golden Oriole (Oriolus oriolus) from some research I did would be interesting to learn more. Lovely photography of the bird moving around in nature.
It is a beautiful bird. I am no expert at all and I can't help to I'd it. But it is fun to try to find out each time what you have seen through your camera.
