This is my favorite decorative item in my bookcase. I don’t even know where I got it. It is made of a porcelain kind of material that is translucent enough for the light inside to get out. I bought this because I love hummingbirds. They are such spiritual and magical birds. They have a special meaning for so many people as if they are a sign. Hummingbirds have been known to show up at weddings and funerals. Happy or sad, they always add a poignant meaning to the occasion. Sometimes a person will think seeing a hummingbird is a sign that their loved one is still with them in spirit.
