Night shift does catch up with you eventually, in the beginning one does not mind so much, eventually you realize your body does not enjoy being pushed for so long.
Have a good sleep and enjoy some time when off.

Next nightshift is on Thursday, but this one shouldn't be that hard. It's as I said, I'm getting old because not so many years ago 5, 6 or even 7 24-hour shifts didn't bother me at all. Now 3 or 4 are tiring so much 😴

Straight night shift is OK, it's back-to-back or rotational shifts that knock you sideways, well hope they come to an end sooner than later.
For as long as one is paid we somehow tolerates a lot in life.

Yeah, we're having 3 or 4 night shifts (24 hour shifts) a month. If we had it all the time on a rotational basis I wouldn't like it at all.

Overtime pays well if the government don't tax too much, here the tax made overtime more blood money rather than additional earnings. Many places push in two or three shifts on rotational basis as they feel where overtime is required more people should be employed,
