Cape Bulbul (white eye trim), African bulbul (red eye trim) and Dark-capped bulbul all in tune with song, lovely to hear them daily, I believe they will interbreed where both are in similar region, not too sure.
Only see Robins when in forested areas on walks, not a regular to the garden.
Oh yeah one big happy family of BulBuls that live in different parts of the country. They wear the colors of their provinces.
No idea if they would interbreed though.
Yes, we are lucky as we have pair of Robins that live here and there are many all over the place.
In fact I posted a Robin today stealing the cheese from a white-eye.
Birds are brilliant no matter where, always up to antics either in song, or looking for something to scoff down.
So true Lady Joan and can you believe that there are 43 of the 52 endemic species in the the country in the Western Cape Province.
So yes, it's a bird circus here.
