Feathered Friends Contest 73 Birds Bum/Bottoms
Bottoms up is not always about toasting someone informally before enjoying a drink, sometimes the best we can do with photography when birds are perched on high is capture those cute little bums.
Ducks butts are relatively regular when around a pond when snorkeling in search of food.
Perhaps a cute little bottom between the branches of trees.
Maybe height is the problem zooming in no matter you try, soft feathers under little tail end is winking at you.
Occasionally out of desperation the dive in is needed to collect seed or wash down feathers keeping clean.
Early morning or late afternoon top of trees waiting for the sun, sunshine time!
Taking a break from nest building to do a download, a little red faced don't you think?
Deep in the reeds looking for a treat, snap you have a butt shot! No much more doing here.....

Little white ducks very rare to see, swans nowhere to be found that I know of.
Was fun thinking about how often these guys look you straight in the eye and drop one, gotta keep looking up!

I don't think I have ever seen a white duck in nature myself.
As long as they are not straight above you when they do their business it's funny, but always looking up if something's falling down is certainly a great idea 😁

Research revealed white ducks imported for farming, possibly escapees with two on the pond at the time.
Some crazy told me it brings you good luck to be hit, sure would not like to be underneath bigger birds like Hadada!

White birds in the wild are normally Egrets large and small, white swans, goose and ducks must be from the North.
"If a bird poops on you or anything you own, it's said to be good luck!" not so sure about the mess you clean up! Old Granny tales...

That's a funny thing.
Duck bottoms seem to always be up in the air. I always wondered how they keep their balance for so long while in that position.
Hanging onto the bottom !LOLZ well positioned letting you know what they up to.
Humans are strange animals, dressing up one know in state of emergency how hampering that can be. Then some think theirs doesn't smell, or go to outrageous expense as to the look of the room, does it make any difference as to what you have to do?
