White Tailed Eagle in Lower Austria

Two Weeks ago I visited the Eastern Part of Austria for some wildlife photography and it was a pretty successful weekend in terms of pictures of the White Tailed Eagle. I Already showed you the pictures with the White tailed Eagle collecting nesting material some time ago. Here in this post I want to show some additional pictures of this wonderful meeting with the White Tailed Eagle. It is such an majestic and big bird and a very strong predator, this is probably also the Reason it is the heraldic animal of germany's flag.

I found this bird already on 3 different places here in Austria, in Upper Austria at the Inn River, in Lower Austria and at Lake Neusiedler in eastern Austria. But it is often very difficult to get as close to the bird like in these pictures where I had extremely good luck and it came pretty close.

Gorgeous! Especially with the spreading wings ❤️

Whoaa! What a huge and majestic bird! The photos are just amazing!

Yes it is a very majestic bird, I personally would have needed a little more time to prepare since the light during noon was a bit harsh and the aperture priority half automatic mode on my Camera had problems with the light situation. I was photographing birds in the bushes on the ground while suddenly the white tailed eagle appeared. I would have needed a +correction for the light, but there was no time to change it.

But I am pretty happy with the results and just seeing it so close is an amazing opportunity.

Good job👍

Thank you!

I love this
