Because it rained a lot some water puddles bild up in the crop fields that are perfect drinking, hunting and cleaning pools for the birds in spring. I drove by this water puddle with my car and was ablet to take these pictures from my car window without the bird fleeing. A car can be a good hide since the birds don't recognize you as human so easily. Wood Sandpipers are one of the more common birds here in spring and I encounter them on all spots where there is a lot of water, near rivers, lakes, and wetlands. Waterpuddles that build up after rain are also a great spot to encounter them. But these pictures are from last year. This spring is not so good for bird and wildlife photography till now. Maybe I find some nice birds on the weekend, I plan to visit the cementary here for some birdphotography maybe tomorrow.

Great photo! These birds appear here around July. But they really don’t like to be photographed 😄
Thank you
