Geese are a species of birds that is pretty common here in Austria and you can easily find some grey greese here at places where there is a lot of water and also on grassland. I have found them here in Austria on several places and I could take several pictures of this bird species. When the geese have their younglings it is the most exiting time taking pictures of geese since during the year they are pretty ordinary. But in Spring when their young offspring has just hatched they are very cute when following their parents on every step.

It is pretty funny seeing these little geese exploring their new world and trying to eat everything they find on the shore. Especially when you watch these young little geese time flies by so fast since it is really funny watching them falling over, trying to follow their parents in water as well as on land.
