Todays Birds

in Feathered Friends6 years ago

This weekend with my camera and gear I went out to take more bird photos, The weather was fine and the rain had given new life to all the newly blossomed flowers and the budding trees. Once the sun rose I got my jacket on and looked for birds. When I walked outside I was surprised to see and hear the variety of different birds. I saw starlings, blue jays, robins, cowbirds, doves, and all sorts of other birds.

Beautiful photography. I live on a farm in Upstate NY USA and the weather has not been very good, cold and rainy. But with virus spreading, we have hunkered down and not left the property in over a month. We are homesteaders at heart, so we have prepared for the "rainy day". We grow our own food and always maintain a full pantry and freezer. We have our own water source, well and spring fed pond. So we will be fine.
Going out for my morning walk with camera around my neck in hopes of snapping a few pix for another #featheredfriends post. Just love to #photograph #nature.
Be well!
