Hello everyone, i haven't used hive for a while but what a way to return by participating in a contest that i have always loved . Yeaaa... its great to be back and to participate in this amazing contest . Thank you @nelinoeva for this great contest. I am so happy with this week's topic cause i have some stunning pics of birds with open beaks .
when it comes to birds with open beaks , i don't think i have a better pic than that of this great racket tailed drogo. His beak is fully wide open and when i took this photo he was so busy making some amazing sounds. Drogos are famous for mimicking other birds sounds . I really loved his whistling voice .
after watching him for like 20 minutes he was kind enough to turn and face me. Still he was busy making some incredible sounds and his beak was still open. I always loved their unique voices and obviously their trademark tails.
I took this photo of the Black redstart just 2 days ago. I think these birds are so cute and pretty . The one i had seen is more cute with its beak open . These birds are rare breeding birds and i am so lucky to see one in person.
Oriental magpie-robin , one of ma favourite and common bird around here in kerala. Their black and white color pattern make them really stunning. With its beak open it was making a lot of sound , and i think it was trying to impress its partner cause when i took this photo i did spotted another oriental magpie-robin sitting in the branch of the same tree.
Once again thank you @nelinoeva for this contest and @eolianpariah for this unique topic. Hope you all enjoyed my clicks .
