Had an opportunity to head down to the local pond a few days back. Dusted off an old 75-300mm zoom, and this is what I came up with. Having a blast taking these closeups, I may invest in a higher quality lens soon. The reviews on the Sigma 100-400mm look pretty impressive, or on the cheaper end, the Tamron perhaps. What say you?

I am rather thrilled to see bird photos from you in Feathered Friends! That yellow headed blackbird is so beautiful! We don't have those in Wisconsin, and it's great to see a photo of one. Go buy that new lens and join us here! ❤️
Is that would its called? Was wondering. I think I’ll pick up that lens soon.
Great shots 😊
Thanks bud.
