When I am with you I feel like I am home
I live in this magical world, with giant beasts and an endless view of tumbling grey stone.
Each day is much the same as it's always been; I go into the water to find food, I come out of the water to sun myself and preen my feathers, I wander through the lovely crowds of all the penguins I know.
Yet now, instead of pining, dreaming and hoping for my mate, I am with you.
None of my day-to-day activities have changed that much but I feel a sense of completeness, wholeness, grace and calm inside my chest that was not there before.
It is true, when I am with you I feel like I am home.

Awwwh. Thanks for your kind words @wrestlingdesires. I'm used to telling stories about my own life or the insights I have, but making up a story, even a really short one, from scratch was out of my comfort zone!! Thanks for helping me feel safe to do it again 🙏
