Once again joining the wonderful challenge brought to us by @nelinoeva Show me a picture of birds | bird art.

Thinking about this week's theme I realized that many people are inspired by our feathered friends to make great works of art which many times transcend the work itself becoming companies, foundations, etc.

Since I was a child I have seen objects inspired by birds, from toys to plant pots. This time I went to the Red de Arte (Art network) in San Fernando de Apure, Venezuela, among the works that were exhibited I found these beautiful paintings:

My attention was drawn to this beautiful 🦩 Flamenco (Phoenicopterus) 🦩 in an Oil on canvas painted by an author from Apure who signs it as Goya. The work shows the beauty of this bird reflected in the water on a night, which I assume is illuminated by the moon; although the star does not appear in the painting is what I can deduce is the reason why the image is reflected.

I have never seen a flamingo live and direct, that's why it caught my attention that its color was white with pink flashes, but I was investigating and there are white flamingos, in fact it is when they are adults that their color turns pink or red.

Right next to it was a smaller painting with a rather intimidating heron, its eyes didn't seem friendly to me so I didn't detail it much. 😅

In another area I was able to find these objects that look to me like some carved in wood and others molded in clay. At that time they did not have an outline identifying the works but I was able to observe the work done by several culturists.

This looks like a peacock to me.

This photo shows a beautiful red macaw (Ara Macao), a duck and a fighting rooster. I can't make out in the photos the name of its maker.

Although there was no special exhibition that day, I was allowed to observe some of the artwork of its creators. This is a small sample of how artists are inspired to recreate in their art a great variety of birds but I have also seen walls decorated with beautiful images of these feathered friends.

Birds are really inspiring many artists, such a lovely painting of the flamingo.

Yes, I really liked how the painter reflected the image of the Flamingo. Looking at it the imagination puts the whole scenario together. 😊
