I had to get all those baby spider plants off the floor and that worked great. Yea, my fern is having it's annual meltdown and shedding like crazy, but new fronds are coming up. We've been pulling shades down earlier too due to the cold. It does seem to make a difference and you have a January birthday soon. :-)
