United we celebrate as a community
Our festivals are meant to socialize us, because that is the most effective way to unite together at a place as a community, share expressions with each other and celebrate together. So on the occasion of Diwali, we all go to the common area in front of the society and burst fire crackers, as it acts like a bit of protection for the vehicles parked inside. I already wrote about Diwali in my last post, showing you some of the vibrant rangolis done by our residents, so this post is going to be a photographic collection of some colorful moments. While taking these photographs, me and my son were taking multiple shorts, to expect one good at least. There were no lights, so one of us lit sparklers or flower pot, and other taking the photos, but interestingly, those crackers burnt so fast that, it was difficult to get the best shots. And the smoke these crackers were producing was another hurdle to deal with. Still, we managed to capture some of the best moments, and like every other festival, our ladies added glamor to the evening with their colorful attire. You can see some of the photos in different shades as the lights faded while these sparklers or flower pots were burning fast.
You can't do it alone....
Ready to run as soon as it catches fire....
For a moment I thought, let's try the inbuilt flash of the camera. It was not bad, but I guess an external flash would do much better.
You always need to have an watch on the kids...safety first.
Life is like a cracker.....we realize late before it burns out fast.
Careful....I had eyes on her, even though she did not know.
Let's try our best...
And it worked....
I brought a shots this time as she wanted one and it was kept for the end...and she wants more next time..
Discovered this spot very late, there were some light with that nice background.
Collaborative effort...
He met with an accident unfortunately, but nobody can stop him to have fun by watching....
This one got stuck, while others were lucky...
I am not afraid.....
The effect of light....
Time to wrap up......until next time. Here is a short video of these photos for our memory - ten years down the line, these will be pure gold...
Shot with SONY α6400 with 18-135 mm Zoom Lens

It's the most sought after celebration for kids after Holi, and for us, it is like start of celebrations as winter arrives during this time.

Beautiful pictures Bhai.. happy Diwali once again..And the shot looks great didn't you capture the sparkles of the shot? That would have been amazing too..cheers
I was literally so busy to look after the kids, take photos of everyone ( even missed few) that I did not focus on capturing the sparkles, but that's a nice idea. Next time...

Happy Diwali to you and your family. After all, now you are one of us, virtually.
What a colourful and beautiful display. Festival is good as it binds people together. We can’t regiment our life to work and work alone. We need to socialize and celebrate with one another. That is one of the things life is all about.
In fact life is all about living it happily, and true socialization with people. Digital world has kept us so occupied that, we forget about living our life.
We have been imprisoned by the cliche that loneliness is the key to success and all personal development. How many years do we have to live that we won't celebrate and live our lives to the fullest.
Aapko aur parivar ko diwali ki hardik shubkamnaye. ❤️☮️
Thank you so much, Happy Diwali to you and your family.

I appreciate that you let us know about this beautiful celebration experience
Celebrating in a community has a whole different charm.
a great celebration and everyone together like a big family, which in the end is what is sought with this type of party. What is necessary is security with fireworks, which seem to be very good.
