Tried all of that and now looking for a small battery operated fan.

What about further inland towards the Berg? Or maybe even St Lucia? I loved it up there during my contracting days. Upper South coast, towards Port Edward, or the other way?

    Current problem is every second house here is up for sale, not many moving we may have to sit on our hands a little while longer. If I move it will be down into Brakrivier area possibly.

    Never found battery powered fans have done the job, large short base fans have been what I have settled on placing onto stand.

      Wow, you guys are really in a bad state there. We are concerned about all of you there.
      Don't wait too long, as things can always get worse.

      That is a good idea with the large short base fans, but we need to have something during the power cuts, as we run the two PC's here, Marian has to mark her students and I am often on Hive, so it gets very hot in here.

        Small fans that run off the computer, light on power and would only be for one person in front of the computer. Separate battery block would be an alternative idea for powering as well.

          Yep this is good advice Lady Joan and I can place an ice gel-pack under the fan. I am looking for a small inverter that can power the small things during power cuts.
