A lovely little discovery here, so come and have a look.
Dense bushes and trees all along the mountain stream and I went out hoping to see some snakes. A little overgrown bridge?
Snakes have become a big problem here lately and an article stated that the members of parliament refuse to stay in their state houses when they arrive for meetings. Apparently one guy saw two snakes on his verandah and he didn't know how many snakes were inside the house.
Sadly I couldn't find any snakes on this walk.
But mother nature was kind to me as I discovered this little bridge. The other side of the bridge was anchored on an old fallen tree.
So of course I made my way gingerly onto the bridge to take some shots of the mountain stream.
Cascading fresh and pure mountain spring water that tasted as soft as Champagne.
No ways that I could walk along the sides of the stream as it was all overgrown by dense bushes. But I saw this strange tree on the bank near me.
Any ideas about what type of fruits these are anybody?
Here is a shot of the tree and you can only imagine how difficult it is to move around on the dense banks of the stream.
A lovely sight on my way back from the stream.
Finally to show you how great it is to farm on the high hills around the mountains.
I could really live on a farm like this forever and in my mind have already designed some secluded look out spots that have a clear view of the sky and the lands to get raptor birds and animals on camera.
Just a dream I know, but a very comforting dream and I saw that life on this farm was great.
We attended a breakfast function here that I you can see in my last two posts before this one and it was a great pleasure for me to explore nature with limited time.

It's a lovely place but the snake part makes me shudder. You were hoping to see something that I fear intensely. I had a nightmare a couple of days ago where there were snakes in my apartment. There are no snakes in the middle of this cold city.
The fruit tree is really interesting. I would love to know what that is.

I am sorry to hear that you fear snakes Carolyn.
What we do with people that are scared of snakes is that we get them to confront their fear by touching a harmless mole snake, or a grass snake as they cannot bite.
I know all of our very poisonous snakes here and I leave them alone, except for getting them on my camera. But the harmless ones I can pick up with my hand.
Yes, the tree is called a "Strelitzia Albus" there are 5 species of Strelitzia plants and trees here.
Hahaha, I will remember to warn you when I post a snake.

It's funny that you say I should confront a snake. I was in the Bangkok snake farm once and had a python around my neck. It was all a controlled thing by professionals. It was creepy but not super scary. I am scared of the idea of a snake invading my space, hanging over me or slithering across my tracks. That to me is a nightmare haha. I would still love to see your snake posts. No warning necessary.
Ah, okay I understand. You already had an encounter with a live snake which was very brave of you.
I think that most people have a fear of snakes, but thankfully as young children on a farm we had frequent encounters with snakes and none of us were harmed by them.
It was drilled into us as kids, to only kill what we can eat and that teaching has stayed with me in all of my days.
So in future when I get a snake on camera, I will know that you won't mind the post.

I believe, they should have enough money to afford someone who takes care of the snakes, or the government pays for that.
That looks really like a nice place, away from the town and the masses, amazing views and a little stream, overgrown with bushes 😍

Yes, it is government houses and it's a simple thing called regular maintenance Hannes.
Whether they do it I don't know, but then again, one can clean a house today and tomorrow find snakes in it, as they can slide in anywhere.

Sometimes things get neglected. Is that owned by somebody, perhaps the government?
No it is a private farm and I think that they deliberately leave it like that, as there are many hiking trails on the farm. So best will be to leave things as natural as possible.
