I'm so sorry to hear about your wife's illness. One million bucks?! I think you've spoken of it before. There are doctors who treat vaccine/medical injuries, which sounds likely to me, but they don't take insurance. She might benefit from homeopathy, which is quite inexpensive and very effective, in my experience. I wish I had gone more heavily into that much sooner. I'm very into it now, learning as much as I can. Your wife would need someone really good. I could guide you a little there if you'd like.

there are well intentioned people in medicine but the system is rotten to the core.

I feel very bad for our medical personnel, who are all expensively educated by that rotten-ness. Many of them have left, and made themselves anew in other, health related, fields. I'm very proud of anyone who has the guts to step out. My heroes!

Thank you, it's been quite a challenging journey. Yes, she had so many MRI's and CT scans that we were already at nearly $250k just for imaging alone a couple of months into the ordeal. Thankfully insurance pays a portion. We have an appointment coming up with a long Covid specialist at the Mayo. Hoping we get some answers there. I'd be totally open to and would appreciate suggestions (ericvancewalton@gmail.com)!

I feel bad for them too. It seems like we lost a lot of our tenured medical professionals during the pandemic. I can't blame them for stepping away. Our modern medical system isn't in place to heal anymore. Most of the people we encounter now are in their 20's and 30's.

I've stopped going to them now, but before that, I would seek out only the older doctors. While they were heavy on vaccination, at least they gave a bit of thought to the case before them. Now, medicine seem to be mostly just algorithmic thinking, as if they are dealing with a motor. Horrible. I know what you are going through. Those tests are sadistic and traumatic all by themselves, an aggravation of any illness. I'm so sorry.

Thank you! Yes, we've had the same experience. We've come across only two competent doctors in all of our appointments and ER visits. Most are just searching for the right med to alleviate symptoms instead of getting to the root cause. It's definitely the system that's broken, not the people. They're operating within the constraints of the system and I can tell it even frustrates some of them.
