Hello @momogrow, RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS, is a good thing to practice when we have the opportunity to do so, and it becomes great knowing that a day like this has been set aside to celebrate it. Thanks for enlightening us more on this RAK day and happy RAK day to you.

I can imagine the smile on that woman's face you gifted nice clothes today instead of selling them out. You are indeed a RAK-tivist 👍

Answering your questions:

  1. Are you a RAK-tivist by nature?

I am, not really 100% but I try to my ability

  1. Have you ever had someone do a RAK for you? If yes, how did you feel afterward?

I have had several people show me an act of kindness and I felt so loved, happy, and relieved of the financial burden when money was involved

  1. Does this idea inspire you to become a RAK-tivist?

Indeed, it does.

  1. How will you perform RAK-tivism on the Hive blockchain?

I can do so by supporting my fellow hiveans that are really in need of financial assistance by sending hive tokens as I have been doing before when I can, encouraging nice words, supporting some posts by promotion once in a while, etc.

You are a RAK-tivist. Everyone that does whatever they can to make our world a better place qualifies. Thanks for dropping by.

I never knew that such a celebration day exist, what a beautiful thought to think of choosing a special day to perform a random act of kindness to people.

I use to do this a lot of time as much as I can and sometimes it can be checking up sick people unexpectedly. And sometimes it can be me sending a hive tip to some deserving hive author unexpectedly.

There are times I send call cards or data bandwidth to friends in need without them asking for it and all these used to feel good knowing that I put a smile on someone's face.

Thank you very much for creating this type of awareness, I never heard of it but it sounds like a culture I will love to adopt and practice every year.

You are definitely a RAK-tivist. Visiting the sick is probably one of the nicest thing one can do - as that person is feeling so down and they are remembered.
I am happy I share something so beautiful with you. Thank you for dropping by.

Thank you very much, you are one of a kind. I really appreciate the hive gift sent my way. !luv

You are most welcome

Sounds like a great chance to do some good around!

Yes it is - thanks for dropping by.

Happy RAK day to you momogrow !
This is the first time that i am hearing of this festival and i am very inspired.

It is a good thing that you reached out to the woman and i am happy on her excitement towards your act of kindness.

RAK is not a new thing over here but we don't actually celebrate it as a festival and i am sure it would have been awesome if we do.

There are many occasions that i reached out to the needy and one of them was when i went shopping in the local market.

There are many people who in order to put food on the table charge shoppers a little money to help them carry their loads to their car. This particular day, i was so sure that i don't need any assistance with my loads but this man approached me to help me carry them. I turned him down that i am good and he went back to where he sat.

Knowing that he needed the money i went back to him and give him the money he would have charged me and i sincerely told him that I still doesn't need his services.

He was so happy as he expressed his gratitude. The money wasn't much but he saw something beyound that money and that was kindness.

I felt this satisfaction and happiness inside my heart that i cannot explain.

Sometimes it's not what we actually give out that matters but the heart from where it's coming and going to.

Thank you momogrow for telling us about this awesome festival

Aww that was such a wonderful thing to do. Thanks for sharing your story. Yes good deeds create a happy feeling for the giver and receiver. I know exactly how you feel. Thanks so much for dropping by.

Love this post! It's a great reminder to look for opportunities to do unexpected kind things for others. Kudos to you!

You are most welcome. I love this day and thought that if a few people see it and tell a few others - soon a ripple effect will be created and soon more people will celebrate. Spreading kindness one person at a time is a lovely idea for our world today.

Soooo true!

Happy RAK day to you momogrow !
