The wheel is turning!

For some reason my mind is still stuck on changes. In my previous post I wrote about the changes taking place in our country and we just have to adapt to these changes because there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. Perhaps I see these changes more clearer, because my own life has gone through a few changes this year. These changes has changed my life tremendously. My husband found a job very far away and I couldn't move with him. I also didn't have a say or a hand in the decision making process, therefore I just had to adapt.

It feels as if I am just constantly adapting to new ways and situations and because I am such a stubborn person it takes longer for me to adapt to a situation. I do however eventually get there.

I have just once again realized that growth and change is a natural part of life. Whether we like it or not, it cannot be stopped. To try and resist it, just causes pain and suffering. It's better just to let it go and become part of the flow of things. We need to constantly adjust ourselves and we should not allow these changes to influence our lives too much. This will ensure that we grow as human beings.

We should all just be like fruit-trees, constantly adapting to a new season or situation. In autumn when the leaves start falling to the ground, the tree will still just be a tree without leaves. It doesn't die, it just adapts and in spring when the new leaves start to form, the tree turns into a beautiful creation, ready to bear fruit again.

Don't try to resist change, just bend, flow and grow. The sooner we adapt, the quicker we will be happy. This country is in for big changes and we need to be ready for what is coming. It won't help to worry about it because it is not going to change the flow of things. We just have to be ready to adjust and adapt.

BUT we need to pray that these are all positive changes. South Africans is a different species, and I can assure you that people are tired of living like this. More people are standing up against the corruption and lies and the only thing we now need is for us all to stand together to force these changes. I can feel it in my bones that the wheel is turning.....

I certainly hope that the tide will start turning for the better @giantbear! You're so right though, we need to learn and adapt to changes, like that old phrase says - adapt or die.

@lizelle If I listen to the negativity from the previously disadvantaged then we are in for something. People are just tired of all the corruption. I think things will get worse before it gets better but eventually the people will get what the people want. In the end we all just want the same thing. Hope you have a lovely week!

Changes always affect our lives for better or worse. The question is how we adapt to them to make them easier or less easy to cope with.
From what I learned about South Africa, we share many problems despite being so far apart, so I can understand that feeling of needing change. Let's hope you get it.

Good to know that despite taking time to adjust, you still get there. Change and adjustments often hurt and just like you said below, we shouldn't try to resist them.

Don't try to resist change, just bend, flow and grow.

Hope everything goes out well for you soon.
