That looks delicious and for a quick pick me something spicy, it's a winner for me! There is something about Cajun food that reels me in. I couldn't get enough of it when I was there for three months.
Nobody does it better than down on the Bayou, yes?
Well, to be clear, it is more that I am a lazy cook. Just feed me, I don't care who cooks. :) I really liked your pictures, the visual made it even better! Thank you for the great idea!
Oh, Joan! She always beats me to the tipu! I'm sooooo slow! Have a great one, Nina!
Thanks for dropping by and your supportive comments, Denise!๐
One seafood lover to another, I know where your heart is when it comes to dinner! Any seafood prepared Cajun style is a solid win-win in my
bookstomach. You're fortunate to have a steady supply of fresh crab and other seafood that you could substitute for the shrimp in the recipe. Not wanting to cook? No problem! The Maryland/DC area still has a wide selection of restaurants that serve Cajun food, right? I can come up with three in the St. Louis vicinity, each location has a favorite go-to entree.
Yes, Joan does a great job with the curations!
Enjoy the rest of your Thusday evening, Lovely! @dswigle
Why isn't there a synonym for seafood?๐ฆ๐๐ฆ
I know!!!! I cannot believe it myself. No synonym. I cannot think of another word that doesn't have one.
Joan does a great job on curations!
There are plenty of Cajun Restaurants that have great food, but, you just can top NOLO! This area has a wide selection of most things. Too many selections make the job more difficult. At the Shore House (Eastern Shore of Virginia/Maryland/Delaware, the house is close enough to be able to run over and drop a trap or a line in the Chesapeake. By the same token, with just a couple of minutes difference, you can be swimming in the Atlantic! It is the most perfect foil for living so close to traffic all the time. :)
I hope all is well with you and it is almost the weekend!!!! Woo-hoo!
