Have you ever flown in a balloon? I do!
¿Han volado en globo alguna vez? ¡Yo sí!

Very good day to the whole community, today I am going to tell you about something very special that I did a few years ago: fly in a balloon.It came as a Mother's Day gift, spectacular! Because it was not an object the gift but an experience, and what an experience! I thought it was a brilliant idea, didn't it?

Muy buen día a toda la comunidad, hoy les voy a contar sobre algo muy especial que hice hace unos años: volar en globo.
Surgió como regalo del Día de la Madre, ¡espectacular! Porque no fue un objeto el regalo sino una experiencia, y ¡que experiencia! Me pareció una idea brillante, ¿no?

It occurred to the husband of my friend Catalina, who commented to my husband and between the two of them they contacted a company that takes care of these things. We both know that we like adrenaline and we are not afraid of heights... And we are a little unconscious too!

Se le ocurrió al marido de mi amiga Catalina, que le comentó a mi esposo y entre los dos contactaron a una empresa que se encarga de estas cosas. Ambos saben que nos gusta la adrenalina y no le tenemos miedo a las alturas…¡Y somos un poco inconscientes también! 

The balloon trip was in the town of Cardales, in the province of Buenos Aires. We went there by car, and in the central square they were already waiting for us with the balloon unassembled, so we lived everything from scratch.

El viaje en globo fue en el pueblo de Cardales, en la provincia de Buenos Aires. Fuimos hasta ahí en coche, y en la plaza central ya nos estaban esperando con el globo sin armar, así que vivimos todo desde cero.

They were preparing it, installing the gas, tying the ropes and then began to inflate it.
I must confess that when it came time to climb into the basket I had the question: what am I doing here?, but the adventurous spirit and unconsciousness won!!

Fueron preparándolo, instalando el gas, atando las cuerdas y luego comenzaron a inflarlo.
Debo confesar que cuando llegó el momento de subir a la cesta me surgió la pregunta: ¿que estoy haciendo acá?, pero el espíritu aventurero y la inconciencia ganaron!!

And there we began to rise little by little, it was a magnificent day, there was no strong wind so all this helped.
Already at sunset we started the descent, the sunset views were breathtaking. I can't imagine what it must be like to do the same in a place with mountains, mountains... or water!

Y ahí comenzamos a elevarnos de a poco, era un día magnífico, no había viento fuerte así que todo esto ayudó.
Ya al atardecer comenzamos el descenso, las vistas del atardecer eran impresionantes. ¡Ni me imagino lo que debe ser hacer lo mismo en un lugar con sierras, montañas… o agua!

When we got off the guide asked us to bend down in the basket and cover our heads, because it literally hits the ground (at low speed), so there may be some tumbling and bumping, but luckily it was very soft.
A van was waiting for us in which they stored the balloon and took us to the departure point where our families were waiting for us.

Al bajar el guía nos pidió que nos agachemos en la cesta y nos cubramos la cabeza, porque literalmente choca contra el suelo (a baja velocidad), así que puede haber algún tumbo y golpe, pero por suerte fue muy suave.
Nos estaba esperando una camioneta en la que guardaron el globo y nos llevó al punto de salida donde nos esperaban nuestras familias.

It was a spectacular feeling, the feeling is that it floats in the air, 360 degree view, total contact with nature.
If you can ever do it and cheer up, don't hesitate!!

Fue una sensación espectacular, la sensación es que se flota en el aire, vista de 360 grados, contacto total con la naturaleza.
¡¡Si alguna vez pueden hacerlo y se animan, no lo duden!!
