Me gusta compartir con ellos la comida del domingo, por eso siempre tanto que sea algo distinto o especial. A veces son ellos los que cocinan y nos sentamos todos alrededor de la mesa, a degustar y compartir comentarios de cualquier tema en especial.

I like to share Sunday lunch with them, so I always make sure it is something different or special. Sometimes they are the ones who cook and we all sit around the table, to taste and share comments on any special topic.

En esta última semana, a consecuencia de lo que vienen sucediendo en mi país desde el 28 de Julio me he sentido tocada en lo más profundo de mi ser, por eso todos y cada uno de mis pensamientos son para mis hijos Israel (24) y Fabián (19), ellos como para toda madre lo son todo y por eso para nosotras es importante saber que están bien.

In this last week, as a result of what has been happening in my country since July 28th I have felt touched in the deepest part of my being, that is why each and every one of my thoughts are for my sons Israel (24) and Fabian (19), they as for every mother are everything and that is why it is important for us to know that they are well.

Apartando un poco el tema político que ya está bastante trillado en las últimas semanas, hoy me quiero ir por el lado bonito de la familia, por esos pequeños instantes de felicitan que alimentan el espíritu y nos hacen sentir bien.

Leaving aside a little bit the political topic that is already quite common in the last weeks, today I want to go for the beautiful side of the family, for those little moments of happiness that feed the spirit and make us feel good.

En una de mis más recientes publicaciones les comentaba de mi visita a la Casona cultural Aquiles Nazoa; esta actividad estaba sonando en mi cabeza un par de meses atrás cuando caí en cuenta de que las fotos en la sala de mi casa son de cuando mis hijos eran unos bebes. Si Son muy bonitas pero tampoco vamos a vivir clavados en el pasado, ya nuestros han crecido, se han graduado en la universidad, y siguen creciendo, haciéndose cada día mas hombres.

José y yo también hemos envejecido, yo tengo un montón de canas ¡y él! ¡Más barriga!

In one of my most recent posts I told you about my visit to the Casona cultural Aquiles Nazoa; this activity was playing in my head a couple of months ago when I realized that the pictures in my living room are from when my sons were babies. Yes they are very pretty but we are not going to live stuck in the past either, our boys have grown up, graduated from college, and are still growing up, becoming more manly every day.

Jose and I have also grown older, I have a lot of gray hair and he has more belly!

Así que sin pensarlo mucho le pedí a mi familia que esa semana no se ocuparan el domingo para poder realizar la actividad denominada “Sesión fotográfica familiar” todos lo entendimos menos uno, mi hijo Fabián en su afán de llevar a su novia a la actividad nos dio la palabra que llegaría más tarde pero las cosas no le salieron como él quería, así que llegaron cuando ya era bien tarde.

Solo ese pequeño detalle me causó molestia ¡así que como ven! ¡No todo sale perfecto como uno quiere!

So without thinking too much I asked my family not to be busy that week on Sunday in order to carry out the activity called "Family photo shoot" we all understood it except one, my son Fabian in his eagerness to take his girlfriend to the activity gave us the word that he would arrive later but things did not work out as he wanted, so they arrived when it was already very late.

Just that small detail caused me some discomfort, so as you can see, not everything goes perfectly as you want it to!

Sabiendo que faltaba Fabián para renovar la foto familiar decidí relajarme y disfrutar de ese lugar tan maravilloso, disfruté de mi familia, la naturaleza, la actividad de yoga y la comida que entre mi hermana y yo habíamos hecho para compartir al aire libre.

Knowing that Fabian was missing to renew the family photo I decided to relax and enjoy that wonderful place, I enjoyed my family, the nature, the yoga activity and the food that my sister and I had made to share outdoors.

Me gustó hacer estas fotos, la familia de mi hermana nunca había hecho unas fotos así, todos juntos con su hijo, nietos y bisnieto. Creo que esta experiencia nos dejó un buen sabor de boca y quedamos con ganas de repetirlo en otra oportunidad, en otra locación igual de hermosa y con Fabián, que de seguro ese día no va a faltar.

I liked taking these pictures, my sister's family had never taken pictures like this, all together with their son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I think this experience left a good taste in our mouths and we are looking forward to repeat it another time, in another equally beautiful location and with Fabian, who for sure will not miss that day.

Caracas tiene lugares hermosos para realizar una sesión de fotos, les puedo nombrar el centro cultural La Estancia, El Laguito, Parque Simón Bolívar, Parque Los Chorros, entre otros.

Mi Sobrina Emily es quien más sabe del tema de fotografía, por eso le asignamos la tarea de que tomara las fotos.

La ropa le da un plus a la fotografía, así que tratar de vestir todo igual con una blusa blanca y un pantalón de jean fue lo que más me gustó.

Caracas has beautiful places for a photo shoot, I can name the cultural center La Estancia, El Laguito, Simon Bolivar Park, Los Chorros Park, among others.

My niece Emily is the one who knows the most about photography, that's why we assigned her the task of taking the pictures.

The clothes give a plus to the photography, so trying to dress everything the same with a white blouse and jeans was what I liked the most.

El clima se prestó para dar una buena iluminación y un buen brillo a las imágenes. El lugar fue excelente ya que al no ser un lugar tan concurrido nos dio la oportunidad de acomodarnos sin ninguna prisa, ni ninguna pena.

The weather lent itself to give good lighting and a nice glow to the images. The location was excellent since it was not a very crowded place and gave us the opportunity to settle in without any hurry, nor any grief.

Creo que al final de la actividad nos sentimos felices, más unidos que nunca. Mi hermana estaba dichosa de verse en una actividad con toda su familia y ellos no se podían creer ¡que su papá! ¡Estaba ahí! ¡Con ellos! hablando, riendo y disfrutando de algo completamente distinto a lo que está acostumbrado hacer.

I think at the end of the activity we felt happy, more united than ever. My sister was happy to be in an activity with her whole family and they couldn't believe that their dad was there, with them, talking, laughing and enjoying something completely different from what he is used to do.

Es por ellos: mis hijos, mi esposo y mi familia que hago todo lo que sea posible para que estén bien y estemos unidos. Yo seguiré inventando lo que tenga que inventar para generar actividades como esta y así seguir guardando en mi corazón recuerdos que atesorare toda la vida y me harán feliz cada vez que los vea.

For them: my children, my husband and my family, I do everything I can to keep them well and united. I will continue to invent whatever I have to invent to generate activities like this and thus continue to keep in my heart memories that I will treasure all my life and that will make me happy every time I see them.
