Awe man, here I thought I was going to get pictures of pound cake to drool over! I love pound cake. That lasagna looks pretty delish. You can tell they put a lot of time into it with all of the layers. We usually only have like one or two layers of noodles. Just quicker to make I guess!
Oh, the pound cake! Next time! :) I do have a coffeecake I made this morning. Will that do? The lasagne was amazing, and the layers are purposely made to trap the sauce. We always make our own pasta, and it is made paper thin which is why it has a lot of layers as opposed to one or two. I also don't use ricotta cheese but use a bolognese sauce.

That makes a lot of sense. We have talked about making out own pasta in the past, but we have never really gotten around to it. I don't like a ton of ricotta, so that sounds just about perfect to me!
There is no ricotta at all! It is an all-meat sauce with tons and tons of flavor! If you make it once, it will own you!
