Those are really amazing! I love the holiday cactus. The colors are just so bright and welcoming. We actually put our Christmas tree up this weekend. My wife was just sick of the constant gray outside and so she wanted it up. This is about five or six weeks sooner than we usually put it up.
Yes trying to beat that gray gloomy day down, needs a little Christmas! Whatever it takes. We typically put our tree up around this time of the year. Well we typically put all of the trees up and all of the decorations this time of the year. Typically head out for Thanksgiving and Christmas comes so fast. Since we host a open house Christmas party every year there's always so much to do prior to that point. Plus Work keeps us busy so we take the weekends that are free and utilize them the best we can. I remember that you guys went all out when it comes to the holiday's. I figured you might be impressed that we actually even put a tree up this year! :) It's a bit sad, Jo used to love to lay on the tree skirt before we got the presents wrapped. I have some garland for our banister I have to rebuild and @mrsbozz has some other stuff to put up and then we will be done decorating for the season.
Baby steps I guess. It's a pain putting all the stuff out but it does look festive afterwards. Yeah, I didn't feel much like decorating or celebrating last December. Molly died in October so it was pretty close to the holidays. I feel your pain.
