Happy Friday, Hive and hello to all the wonderful Silver Bloggers Community family. This is my first post in here and I hope I'll get meet more crazy beautiful and fantastic friends around.
Today, I just wanted to share something about flowers. Very common I know, but who doesn't like flowers?
I think they are images of pure love specially to lovers and couples out there. And not just love of course. They too mean a ton of things to people and it likewise represents a lots of things. For friends, these are images of fellowship and for others it is a characteristic of profound respect and so on. We also give flowers to different kinds of people in different kinds of events. There are such countless types of blossoms on the lookout and all of them imply something or the other.
My Dragon fruit now has flowers

I again just wanted to share my Dragon fruit plants and presently now has flowers. I was surprised when some of my virtual friends had no idea how a dragon fruit flower looks like.

Here in our province, we call this flower "Cinderella" since it just blooms around midnight and it closes not long before the dawn. Some additionally refer to it as "Queen Of The Night" or "Moon Flower". I like the "Moon Flower" though. I am a selenophile (moon lover) so it does fit.
The blossom life of a dragon fruit is somewhat of a Cinderella fairytale story. For most of its life, the bloom bud goes through its days mixing out of the spotlight. Then when the evening comes, it increases than life and uncovers its astounding magnificence streaming fragile white pedals encompass brilliance. Similar to the that fairytale story, its flower story is unfortunately brief. With the morning sun, the blossoms start to blur. Once more at last the bloom shrinks to mix away from plain sight.

So a couple of nights ago (Wednesday night) I had a walk around my yard checking my plants and as I was going to close our gate, I saw my dragon fruit plant and beginning to flaunt its blooms. The moon around then was splendid as though was attempting to blend in. I rushed inside the house and grabbed my phone and took some photographs in light of the fact that in the first part of the day, you won't see them open like these anymore. They frequently blossom during season season between May-September.

This is how they look in the morning

How to grow a dragon fruit plant?
Fortunately they can grow very well and easy from cuttings. On the off chance that a part of the branches fell into your yard, you can just plant them directly in the soil. If you end up having a plant with roots, that is even better. Just put the roots in a similar soil and you're all set.
Anyone has seen a dragon fruit flower before?

One love,

Hi, @steven.defi Yes, this is a tropical plant and doesn't seem to grow alot in colder places like Greece. It is nice to know you have one though. 3 flowers is already something. Thank you or visiting, my friend. I do appreciate it.
