Now I know why beer is so popular. Beer really works wonders 😄
It has been 8 days since we arrived in Split. Every moment spent here is a precious memory of the wonderful people I spent my time with at Hive Fest. All five days - it was a rich and exciting program, so interesting and filled with emotions that there was no time to describe my impressions. It is too valuable for me to write in haste. Today I arrived in Senj City to stay here for three days and show you Hivefest with my eyes! It's a hurricane outside, the weather is conducive to good writing and so is coffee ☕

I hope to inspire you to attend this incredible meeting of the real Hive next year. I will write later about the conference at the art gallery, the gala dinner at the Hussar restaurant, the day at the Historic Castle, the exciting billiards day, Hive Crypto drift, the Corsaro sea cruise... And many sweet moments dear to my heart... Thank you for the wonderful organization of HiveFest @lordbutterfly!
So, today about the first meeting...

We arrived in Split the day before, and all day on September 10, I heard from my daughter something like this: "Mom, I won't go, I'm afraid... My English is bad... How will I communicate?" Of course, I tried to joke and encouraged her... My role is simple. I can say: "Hello, where are you from? I'm from Ukraine! Nice to meet you!" Of course, this is very little to get real communication. But I'm sad to admit. I didn't learn English.... I could completely understand my Victoria's excitement After all, it's been 6 years since we visited Hivefest in Krakow. That time she was 14. Her first look at Hivefest 3 was in Krakow. It's like meeting after many years with the one you love, worrying: what will my emotions and feelings be now...
However, my youngest daughter @darine.darine was absolutely confident and extremely elated. Interestingly, we came to introduce the Hive community when it too turned 14! At the same age as her older sister. But this girl has already seen many countries during our #TheLongestTrip and thanks to the Dualingo program, she learned spoken English at a good level on her own.
So, we arrived in the city center of Split when it was already dark. Our airbnb apartment was 9 km from the Paradiso bar. And our main problem was to find parking for our car. In Split, this is a real problem. My car is long, almost twice as long as the small cars that people usually use in countries with narrow and steep streets. And when I see the space between the cars at the curb, I usually can't fit in there 🤣
So we left our Mazda on the embankment, the price is 5 euros per hour, I hope to find cheaper options tomorrow.

We came and met our "patron" 🙂- @gtg. This incredibly kind and cheerful guy really became our friend. He helped and encouraged us all the way to Hivefest. Many thanks to him for this! Therefore, my girls immediately ran to him to say hello and feel confident.
And then we saw @roelandp!
Back then, in Krakow, this guy looked unattainable and mysterious. very extraordinary, In his constant fiery T-shirt, and for some reason barefoot 🤔. We were always afraid to approach him to get to know him better. But after drinking beer, @bugavi became very brave. And so we got this photo where we look so cool 😎

But suddenly I saw a familiar face! This cute fair-haired girl is of course @honeydue.
She was extremely nice to us during our stay in Krakow at Hivefest 3. And we rushed over to her to hug and introduce my @darine.darine!

And then we ran from table to table, meeting new people who were extremely positive and friendly, and we talked as if we had known each other for a long time. Hive community is an incredible community of people, friendly and open. Having met once, a friendship develops that lasts for years. And I know that when I come to the country where these people live, I will receive support and help!

We were also happy to personally welcome the famous legend @blocktrades again and meet his lovely and friendly wife!

There were many beautiful tempting alcoholic cocktails that I would have liked to try...but I was driving so I couldn't afford it. Still, there was one drink that I allowed myself to taste. I am an esthete, so I chose this bright strawberry 🍓 drink in an original glass!
It helped me to relax and activated my brain a bit while communicating in English 😄

I want to say a special thanks to @cryptospa. This nice guy from Bulgaria speaks good Russian and he spent a lot of time with me and helped me understand more than I could understand in English 🥰
