Desde que supe que el HiveFest 2023 Ola surfista se realizaría en México, me decidí a llegar ir, mi situación económica en ese momento era un poco difícil, los que me conocen o me acompañaron en algunos de mis streams en esos días saben que sucedió en esa apoca.

En enero mas o menos se dio la noticia oficial de que era un hecho que este gran evento sería en México, aunque ya había juntado para poder comprar mi boleto del evento que según averigüe. debería de costar no mas de 600 usd mas o menos, solo me faltaba el hospedaje y el transporte.

Pasó el tiempo y mi esposa terminó en enero el postgrado de su licenciatura en enfermería. Eso es muy bueno y me llena de orgullo pero hubo un detalle, necesitábamos dinero para poder pagar los gastos de su cedula y algunas cosas mas que se tenían que pagar por la ceremonia, papeleos y cosas por el estilo, era una suma importante de dinero.

Pasó el tiempo y llegó finales de Julio y gracias a una publicación que hizo mi amigo @fermionico me enteré de que por medio de @anomadsoul e @hispapro estaban haciendo un concurso patrocinado por @threespeak por 4 tickets para poder asistir que incluía incluso el hospedaje lo único que debería de correr por mi cuenta sería mis vuelos, esa era mi oportunidad para lograr mi sueño.

De verdad que cuando la suerte te sonríe lo hace con ganas, pues me metí al concurso con mucha emoción y esperanza, pasaron varias semanas después de participar en la iniciativa y no se daban los resultados lo que me puso muy nervioso, cuando al final sucedió la magia.

This left me with mixed feelings because on one hand I was very happy and proud for my wife but on the other hand I was sad because the dream of attending my first @hivefest was fading away.

Time went by and the end of July came and thanks to a publication made by my friend @fermionico I found out that through @anomadsoul and @hispapro they were doing a contest sponsored by @threespeak for 4 tickets to attend that included even the lodging, the only thing I would have to pay for would be my flights, that was my chance to achieve my dream.

Truly, when luck smiles at you it does it with desire, I entered the contest with a lot of excitement and hope, several weeks passed after participating in the initiative and the results were not given which made me very nervous, when finally the magic happened.

No recuerdo bien que día de la semana fue pero lo que si me acuerdo es que estábamos mi esposa y yo viendo unos tramites cuando recibí un a notificación en @ecency de un comentario de Anomadsoul preguntándome si podíamos comunicarnos por discord, así que eso me dejo muy claro que talvez el me daría la noticia tan esperada.

Anomadsoul desde ese momento fue una persona muy amable y agradable, me dio la buena noticia e igual me dio mucho gusto saber que el era al igual que yo mexicano, platicamos un rato y me dijo que me avisaría para mencionarme mas detalles sobre mi adorado premio, iría al HiveFest eso era un hecho.

Como ustedes saben el HiveFest fue del 22 al 26 de septiembre, Anomadsoul se puso en contacto conmigo mas o menos antes de agosto 22 para pedirme detalles para mi reservación, para lo cual yo ya estaba listo con mis boletos de avión adquiridos y una reserva de hospedaje para los días que no cubrían mi premio pues yo quería llegar unos días antes e irme días después.

@starkerz también se puso en contacto conmigo para darme detalles sobre el viaje ya acercándose el día de mi viaje para Tijuana, quiero hacer una mención especial sobre él pues es una persona increíble, extrovertido, super amigable es lo que llamamos en México un tremendo compa.

I do not remember what day of the week it was but what I do remember is that my wife and I were looking at some paperwork when I received a notification in @ecency of a comment from Anomadsoul asking me if we could communicate by discord, so that made it very clear to me that maybe he would give me the long awaited news.

Anomadsoul from that moment was a very kind and nice person, he gave me the good news and I was very happy to know that he was Mexican like me, we talked for a while and he told me that he would let me know to tell me more details about my beloved prize, I would go to the HiveFest that was a fact.

As you know the HiveFest was from September 22nd to 26th, Anomadsoul contacted me more or less before August 22nd to ask me for details for my reservation, for which I was ready with my plane tickets and a reservation of lodging for the days that didn't cover my prize because I wanted to arrive a few days before and leave a few days later.

Siento que la historia de como fue mi experiencia viviendo el HiveFest es digna de contarse pues ha sido todo un torbellino de buenas vivencias y mucha suerte inmersa, se que hay gente que no cree en la suerte pero yo la verdad si creo y mucho.

Como les había dicho anteriormente para hospedarme los días que yo no tenía cubiertos en el premio que había ganado reservé en un Hostal cerca de Rosarito Beach Hotel que me salió muy barato.

Pero me llegó una oferta mejor, Starkerz me dijo que había la posibilidad de caerle al sillón en un sitio llamado las Olas Grand, al principio yo tuve algo de duda pues para ir a las Olas debía de perder lo que reservé, pero al ver por Google lo increíble del lugar que me estaban ofreciendo no perdí la oportunidad y acepte.

De un Hostal a un sillón en una zona de departamentos muy exclusiva no fue todo, pasaron los 2 días todos se fueron al Check-in party y yo pase ala habitación principal de las Olas Grand pero me llegó una nueva oferta por cuestione de facilitar algunas cosas creo yo, necesitaban tenernos mas cerca a todos sobre a todo a los que ayudábamos con la logística y así fue como pasé de un hostal, a un sillón, a la cama principal en las Olas Grand a finalmente y la cima el Pent-house del Rosarito Beach Hotel, increíble.

I feel that the story of my experience living the HiveFest is worth telling because it has been a whirlwind of good experiences and a lot of luck immersed, I know there are people who do not believe in luck but I really believe a lot.

As I had told you before to stay the days I had not covered in the prize I had won, I booked in a hostel near the Rosarito Beach Hotel which was very cheap.

But I got a better offer, Starkers told me that there was the possibility of staying at a place called Las Olas Grand, at first I had some doubts because to go to Las Olas I had to lose what I had booked, but when I saw on Google how amazing the place they were offering me I did not miss the opportunity and accepted.

From a hostel to a couch in a very exclusive area of apartments was not all, after 2 days everyone went to the Check-in party and I went to the main room of the Olas Grand but they made me a new offer to make some things easier for me I think, they needed to have us all closer especially those who helped with the logistics and that was how I went from a hostel, to a couch, to the main bed in the Olas Grand to finally and the best the Pent-house of the Rosarito Beach Hotel, incredible.

No acaba ahí mi suerte, llegó el día de la noche de póker, algo que esperaba con muchas ansias pues yo juego cartas desde que soy un niño, mi mamá que en paz descanse le encantaba jugar y ella me enseñó junto algunos de mis tíos desde muy temprana edad, en lo personal me hacia mucha curiosidad como sería jugar un torneo sobre todo sabiendo que tendría como adversario al legendario @theycallmedan.

Los que asistieron esa noche fueron testigos de como gracias a los consejos de nuevos amigos como @eturnerx y Starkers y claro un 80% suerte y 20 % estrategia, gané el segundo lugar de la noche de póker pero en el camino vencí a tremendos jugadores como lo son @blocktrades, Khal de Leo Finance, @theycallmedan entre otros, lo cual para mi fue ganar el torneo prácticamente.

Además de estos hechos que les platico, me quedo con la experiencia de poder haber tenido la oportunidad de conocer a grandes personas que jamás en mi vida hubiera tenido alguna chance de conocer de nos ser por la suerte que me ha a acompañado este año.

My luck didn't end there, the day of the poker night came, something I was looking forward to because I play cards since I was a kid, my mom, may she rest in peace, loved to play and she taught me along with some of my uncles from an early age, personally I was very curious about how it would be to play a tournament especially knowing that I would have as an opponent the legendary @theycallmedan.

También me quedo con las grandes conexiones que se han logrado para poder continuar con mi crecimiento como creador de contenido y por supuesto me quedo con los avances en las diferentes Dapps y proyectos en general que se expusieron el este grandioso HiveFest.
