As everyone already knows, an extraordinary event will take place tomorrow. Hivefest in Split, Croatia. And after many years, I will finally be able to attend this exciting event for the first time. My sister and mom have been to Hivefest before, but it was still Steemit back then. They didn't take me that time, even though I begged so hard (I was desperate). At that time I was not a Hivian, but now I have the full power to meet all the people who will also be able to travel this distance for Hivefest. I wish good luck to everyone who is getting to Split now, I congratulate everyone who has already arrived, and now let me tell you about my own road to Hivefest.

On the way to Split, we wanted to meet our old acquaintances who were living in Slovakia at the moment, who are also from Hive. We tried to talk them into joining but they completely refused but we still had a great chat. Next we headed to Kosice, also Slovakia. We only got there for an hour as our parking wasn't too cheap. In KoΕ‘ice, we saw a rather impressive church with a black design and splashes of gold. In addition, I was impressed by the fountain. It was appropriate in this hot weather.

Then we went to Croatia. But we also had a reason for this. At that time, my brother lived in the city of Moscenytcka Draga.

Also, living together, we visited the historical city of Piran. To be honest, this city had quite an enchanting impression on us. During the walk there, we were able to feel its beauty completely. My brother and I spent a week together, and then other, even more interesting places awaited us.

The next place was world famous and fantastic. We moved to Italy for a few days, where we had the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. This colorful beauty is called Venice. Exploring the streets of Venice on a Gondola with our mouths open, we were finally able to understand why Venice is so popular. It is the sophistication of everything without much effort. This city is more than 1500 years old, and it is still in excellent condition. Truth be told, everything used to be built much better.

After this unforgettable visit, we headed to the old village of Nikola. The city itself is beautiful and ancient, but I was most impressed by the apartment in which we lived. All of it was created in an old style, and conveyed an impeccable vibe. And at night she had a special highlight. At night, the whole city was covered with small lights, and from this apartment you can see it all like in the palm of your hand.

During our stay in this magic, we managed to visit Monarola. It is a colorful, romantic town on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. Walking there is a pleasure, you go down the winding streets and look at all the houses, one by one. By the way, the sea also has its charm here.

Welcome Pisa! Having entered the gate of the park with the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I was simply petrified. All the buildings in this area are works of art. Every part of these buildings is brilliantly beautiful. The park has three main buildings located in the middle of a wide green lawn. And I was fascinated by this architecture, because this art is gorgeous. This era was something completely different and it was great. After leaving our retro apartment, we headed to another extremely popular city in Italy.

The next place is called an open-air museum. It was the city of Florence. In the beginning, you won't see anything special. But later there you can see huge majestic buildings and architectural masterpieces that you have not seen anywhere. There were also statues, but some of them I wasn't too thrilled about. After this place, we returned to Nikola for a couple of days. We could not part with our beloved apartment so quickly.

Next, the castle in Trieste awaited us. To be honest, this castle is a perfect example of the majesty of ancient castles. This is the type of castles that are depicted in fairy tales with princesses and white horses. Different shapes, cuts, towers, it all looks too fancy to be real. The garden of the castle is of the same impeccable beauty.

This was our last stop in Italy. After that, we returned to Croatia, the city of Senj. This city itself has wonderful landscapes with colorful houses and clear emerald water of the sea. Also, in this city we managed to catch @arcange, as @bugavi already wrote about it in her post. He was also on his way to Hivefest at the time.

Having already arrived in Croatia, at the very end we decided to visit the famous Pletvitske Lakes. And somehow it happened that at the same time as us, @gtg and his wife decided to also admire the lakes. Everything went according to plan, but we could not predict only one thing - the weather. It turns out that on the very day when we bought the ticket to Plitvice Lakes, there should be a thunderstorm. Whatever you do, there is no turning back. While walking on the Plitvice lakes, the water soaked almost everything it could. If we hadn't taken umbrellas, it would have been a total nightmare. But even during the thunderstorm, the lakes were divinely beautiful, and we admired them every second.

And after all these adventures, here we are! Hivefest, welcome us!
