It was ShoKin Day 13, and coincidentally, 13 friends were in attendance. The Shoppers Connect event was scheduled for noon at Classic Kitchen Restaurant. However, @fokusnow, who arrived early, informed the group chat that their meals wouldn't be ready until 2 PM. This left us with two unsatisfactory options: either reschedule for 3 PM or cancel ShoKin Day 13 altogether.
Considering that many people shop for groceries and handle personal errands on Saturdays, gathering everyone again by 3 PM would be challenging. Canceling ShoKin Day 13 wasn’t an option we wanted to entertain. Fortunately, since there were several other listed restaurants and supermarkets nearby, @Fokusnow suggested we visit one of them instead of missing out entirely. That's how we ended up choosing La'Fresh Food and Bakery.
This was our second visit to the restaurant, and I was very excited to return to a place where great memories are made. Our first visit was wonderful; we overstayed the time we had planned to be there. When you go to a place where you are treated well, you always want to return, right?
Located at 171 Faulks Road, Aba, close to the state's largest international market, La'Fresh is a home away from home for many people seeking a delightful dining experience. When we arrived, I was with @empressjay, and we met a few friends: @bakinba, @debbydaniels, @bummblebee, @iamchimary, @sammyhive, and @mesonia. We were a small group; I guess many couldn’t join us due to the sudden change of plans. Nevertheless, we had a great time just like our first visit.

Cozy is the best way to describe it, and yes, it might be surprising considering its proximity to a busy market. Typically, you would expect such a location to be loud, chaotic, and perhaps a bit messy. But that’s not the case with La'Fresh. They have managed to create a serene, clean, and inviting environment that feels like a world of its own. It’s the kind of place where you can escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in relaxation.
The atmosphere is perfect for creating beautiful memories, whether you're celebrating a special occasion, spending time with loved ones, or just enjoying some solitude. What sets La'Fresh apart is the gentle background music that softly plays throughout the space. It’s calming and sophisticated, giving you the impression of dining in a luxurious 5-star hotel.

When I say the meals at La'Fresh are perfect, it’s no exaggeration. The first thing that strikes you is the presentation, meticulously arranged and invites you to take that first bite. But it’s not just about looks; the flavors are simply heavenly. The meals are so well-prepared that they leave a lasting impression long after you’ve finished eating. Everything is crafted with precision and served with elegance, from appetizers to desserts. The portions are generous, and the service's cleanliness and attention to detail add another layer of delight.

The customer service at La'Fresh is nothing short of outstanding. When you step in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that immediately makes you feel at home.
