SHOKIN DAY 13: ONBOARDING A NEWBIE and Spending HBD at La fresh togetherrrrr

My second Shokin Experience and the official 13th Day of the Shokin experience. But this time we have an even newerbie @nessphere!

I have been telling nessphere about the spendhbd experience for some time now and we finally decided to let her get on here and explore hive herself! We left umuahia that day to go to Aba. The plan was to get to Aba by 11 so that by 12, we'll reach the designated place for the Shokin. But as expected, we only just got to the park by 10 and so we would only get to aba by 12 since it's an hour and some minutes ride. While we were still in the bus, the time for community shokin was shifted from 12 to 1:30 pm which meant we had enough time to spare.

So, i suggested we go meet @fokusnow in the office so she'll get acquainted with him which is exactly what we did and then stepped out together to spend HBD.

You kmow I'm not done if i dont share some pictures of eatersssssWe got to la fresh and we were pretty much the first persons in rhe group to get there, so, we took pictures and entered the place. That was the groups second time at la fresh but it was my first time being here and even hearing the name la fresh. We entered inside and after settling in , we got food using hbd and we ate while chatting. After some time, others started coming @iamchimary @ngobaby @debbydaniels @empressjay and some others. Ooh yes! I guess @brainbrian couldn't come abi na @brianbrain.... idk but yes, it was a nice experience and compared to last night, i was a lot more social this time. Funny how @nessphere took the place of the shy introverted member this time but i understand that it was all just new to her and after some time, she'll settle in.

La fresh restaurant has a very nice environment, the setting inside too is beautiful but this day, i personally could not bring myself to explain the smell i perceived. It was not string but not so nice.

I personally like the provisions of electrical socket in the place and the setup of the interiors. I slso like that they had a section for fruits , if you wanted to buy fruits. It was giving minimalistic but in a good way. They had varieties of food from rice to garri (i may be wrong but i don't think Nigerians have much to work with when it comes to food. Usually Eba, rice, beans, yam. Mostly carbohydrates) anyways, their food tasted good but can be better but for the price of the plate of food, everything that came with it was worth it. i think the chicken meat was big enough, hahaha and i really liked that it was soft though @nessphere said it tasted like every other chicken and i wouldn't know since I'm not a chicken eater like her (that was a joke, this is your cue to laugh)

The customer service was good. Compared to other places that have 5 servers , this place had 1 server this day and her service was spectacular. Thinking back now, i should have tipped her. Maybe next time. I would give la fresh a 7.5 out of 10 and uhmmmm here's the link to my first review using distriator . See ya next time
