While in hunt for a business to list, I onboarded a newbie. Please, let's welcome him.

It's festive season and many have gone for holiday but as a trusted local guide who is ready to spread the good tidings of spendhbd all over the city. Therefore, I and @ijebest made some move to visit a business i had appointment with last week which i couldn't keep because of unforseen circumstances.

So today, we arranged to visit the supermarket known as Say Yes Supermarket. The supermarket sales so cheap beyond my imagination. Even my partner @ijebest was greatly surprised at the price of some goods or items in this supermarket and we fell in love with it knowing fully well it will be a good and nice business to spend hbd in.

After touring round the supermarket, there was space for us to discuss with the manager by the name Izuu. I told him our mission and he asked several questions about hive and spendhbd of which I gave reliable answers to them all. Some of the questions he asked includes:

• What is hive Blockchain?
• Is spendhbd under hive?
• If this business should be registered, what will be our benefit?
• Can we too claim discounts?
• If I accept HBD in this business, then, how will I get my money in naira(our local currency) and are my the one to give customers discount from my pocket?

Ahh, the guy really bombed me with mighty questions but I was able to give befitting answers to them all and my partner also contributed as well.

He was greatly satisfied and as a young man in his early 20's, he told me that he has meager knowledge about crypto but from his perspective, crypto is about to rule the world. Meaning that there is need to queue in. But the bridge is the absence of their mother who is the owner of the business. According to them, she waited for my visit last week as we agreed on but they couldn't see me. And that the woman have traveled to village. So they called her via phone and she said that once she's back, she will call me.

As we left the business, we made another move to a different business that sales both drugs and groceries including wines. It's also a known laboratory business in that locality so we branched in.

There, after introducing ourselves, one young man present at the shop, after viewing our tshirts asked if we deal on BTC and other cryptos? I was amazed at that. Yes was my answer. So I demanded reason for his guess and the answer he gave added joy to my marrow. According to him, he is also into crypto and according to him, he trades Bitcoin and other coins as well.

So after much talk and crypto discussion, I introduced spendhbd project to him. He himself wanted to register but his phone wasn't available at the moment because he plugged it at home. Also, I couldn't list the business because the sister, who is the CEO of the business wasn't available at the moment. Therefore, we exchanged contacts and he also gave me the sister's number. As I reach home, I called her but she asked me to call back next week because she is going for holiday.

How I onboarded a newbie

While discussing with the guy we met at the pharmacy shop(Peemedxpress laboratory), a man walked in and after exchanging pleasantries, he asked me what we are into base on my T-shirt. As someone proud of her business, I introduced spendhbd and hive to him and he accepted to be registered. Immediately , using distriator, I processed his registration.

Also, I downloaded hive keychain and ecency for him, set up his profile and registering right now, he's a member of hive and spendhbd. His username is @sunny7up

Conclusion

Although I was unable to register and list a business, yet, am satisfied as I was able to onboard a new user to hive. For sure, our movement today yield something meaningful. Had it be I stayed indoor without making any move or without wearing my spendhbd t-shirt, I wouldn't have bring or win a soul for hive and spendhbd today. Right now, he is preparing his introduction post.
