Spend HBD Promotion Through Group Shopping.

For 14 straight weeks now, we have always gathered as a group during the weekend to spend HBD. This movement is not just a way to experience endless perks of crypto payments, it is huge promotional initiative channelled to helping more people know about the community and what they stand to gain if they join. When we visit businesses in a large number like we do, outsiders wonder what's going on and they start asking questions. From answering their questions, one or two newbies are added to the team.

Last week, we visited @classickitchen, one of the very first restaurants that welcomed us when we started to spend HBD in my city. You can read about our first visit here. We scheduled to pay them a visit 2 weeks ago but they weren't so ready with their meals, so we tried again and it was successful. About 13 of us made it there. We had faces like @bakinba, @go-well, @ngobaby, @brainbrian, @sammyhive, @chimary, @chi-don, @ijebest, @uzoma24,@fokusnow, @nwanna, and @lutherking147. A lot of people from the SHOKiN team couldn't join us due to their different personal reason but we're hopeful they will, come the next weekend.

The overall experience this time at Classic Kitchen was awesome starting from their staff. I could remember the last time we were there, it was one person doing all the serving. It was quite stressful having only her running up and down to stairs to get our orders and she even mixed up some orders on that day. Recently we saw they have employed more hands, the orders were received as quickly as they were taken. This time, they had more meals on their menu than the did the last time. They gave us their time and attention and let us stay for as much as we wanted as we kept taking our pictures and having fun, I also made a couple of friends who were staffs there, with plans if introducing them to the community later on.

We never want to miss our group shopping. We spend and we earn in return all thanks to the @spendhbd community and @distriator too. They made it happen in the first place and to everyone who regularly supports the community, let's do more!

As the @spendhbd community keeps gaining more recognition from both newbies and our dear old Hivers, it brings us nothing but joy seeing that our efforts are not being watered down, rather it is yielding better results everyday. Prior to when our group shopping (SHOKiN) initiative started, we all did our regulars shoppings in different listed businesses, making HBD payments. While this was the ultimate aim of the community, it gained little to no attention from others who didn't know the vast world of the Blockchain. But since it's inception, the SHOKiN activity has proved to be a way forward to gain more attention from the public.
