Lagos state Report:: spendhbd presentation hosted at @shoegardaddy2 shoe shop, onboarding 2 new users

@shoegardaddy2 shoe shop, which is located at Aguda Surulere Lagos, was listed a few days ago by me.

Ladies always come to @sheogardaddy2 shoe shop to buy shoes for office work and church service, so there is always a crowd at @shoegardaddy2 shop.

As a trusted local guide and also a marketer I don't just list a shop I make out time to visit those shops and speak to customers about spendhbd project.

I left my house to go to @shoegardaddy2 shop; on getting there, I met so many ladies who came to buy shoes for work resumption; I also met with @nomso11, who buys shoes from @shoegardaddy2 and resells online; he came to pick some shoes that people ordered.

I took couple of minutes to explain to the ladies in the shop what spendhbd is all about, what they can benefit from it.
Unfortunately, some were skeptical and didn't consider it something genuine, while two ladies were very interested and decided to sign up.

Onboarding 2 new users.

Through the spendhbd sign-up link, I signed up @gracie01 and @favesazu, I also helped them download the hive keychain wallet and set it up for transactions.

One good thing was that they all had iPhones so, which made the transaction very fast and easy, they bought different pairs of shoes, made payment with hbd, and got their discount immediately.
They needed to see if it could be converted to our local currency, so I quickly sent them Naira equivalent to the discount they got; they were happy and would do it again and again.

I also assisted @nomso11 to pay with hbd and claim a discount as he gets orders from his online shop.

I was still waiting for more customers at the shoe shop when @tega0 called me to come to help her with her shopping at the @goshopping provision store, I quickly went to assist her with her shopping.

After that I went to a hairstylist shop in a plaza, she was very busy and didn't have time for me, so I came back to the shoe shop but I couldn't get anyone to onboard again, some who were interested were in a haste while others didn't even give me attention because they think is fraud and I can't force them to come make money for themselves.

@gracie01 got a call that got her upset, and she left angrily, so we didn't have a picture together.

It was a hectic day, marketing is never an easy task, especially in a country where people hardly believe that there is a genuine platform like Hive, but in all, we will keep doing our best.

Thank you to the spendhbd community and admins who work hard to make sure that this project is moving successfully, so I will do my best to create awareness about this life-saving project.
