Another successful day of spendhbd marketing, visiting Yabatech and Yaba cosmetics shop in Lagos state

Am always on the lookout of where to see more business to list and more users to onboard, that's my work as a trusted local guide.

It has been a long time since I had plans of taking a spendhbd project to a popular and large school known as Yaba College of Technology map

Yaba College of Technology also known as Yabatech is one of the most populated high institutions in Lagos state with various departments, some students struggle with a whole lot, and some have to do some part-time things work to assist them in paying for their tuition fees and other things, most of the students reside in the hostel and are not allowed to make foods so they can only purchase food from the school restaurants, those factors I considered and thought that spendhbd project will really be of assistance and there will also have interested students who will be active on hive.

I left my house by 9:am to meet with @talktofaith

By 10am, I and @talktofaith left for Yabatech to list the restaurant where they buy food and sign up students if possible.

On getting to the school premises everywhere was just crowded and busy so we inquired only to find out that they had exams today, which made it difficult to see even a student to talk to, we tried to see the one who manages the restaurant unfortunately everywhere was too busy he doesn't have even a second to discuss with us.
We even saw some students who were crying because they lost their phones during the exam. The police were invited, and this was trying to cause a bit of a riot, the environment wasn't conducive anymore, so we decided to leave.

What next?

We had some time outside to consider what to do next, I quickly recalled some businesses at Yaba market that make a lot of sales daily, we also talked about the importance of targeting businesses that make a lot of sales since that will result in so many new users that will be willing to spend hbd.

So we decided to visit Yaba Lagos market, on our way we wanted to buy sunglasses but unfortunately, it was very expensive so we left, I took a picture and dropped it back with the seller.

There are lots of businesses at Yaba Under Bridge, so many plazas, and that is also where a big market known as Tejusho Modern Market is located.

We decided to look out for cosmetics shops because we know how much our women love taking care of their bodies, we visited MaMa Tega map Mama Tega is one of the largest cosmetics and spa shop in Yaba, it has different sections and so many workers, they sell original products and this attracts so many ladies.

She wasn't on-sit to discuss this with us, we were asked to check back later in the day when she will be available.

So we left to another cosmetics shop known as Swayz Cosmetics map
Swayz is owned by a young man, and he sells different types of cosmetics, mostly foreign cosmetics. He is also a dermatologist who has helped many ladies cure skin infections and cream reactions, in fact,, he once helped me with my skin challenges.

We met with the sales guy and after explaining our reason for coming he asked us to wait till the afternoon hours of the day or come back on Monday by 2:pm, we were already tired and exhausted so we chose to go back on Monday by 2: pm to meet with him in person and have a proper business discussion.

It was already 1 pm We were exhausted and hungry, and we discussed briefly how to meet more businesses on Monday and a convenient time to meet with business owners to get a positive response.

After that, she went home while I as well boarded a bus to my house.

That was how we spent our day in search of businesses and new users.
