I chose this song because it speaks deeply to my personal journey with God. When I reflect on my life—where I started from, what I’ve passed through, and where I am today—I can confidently say that God has been faithful. Even in moments when I didn’t fully understand His plans, His goodness never failed me. This song captures that testimony in a very simple but powerful way.
What inspired me to choose Goodness of God for Hive Open Mic is the message of gratitude it carries. It reminds me that every breath we have is a gift and that acknowledging God’s faithfulness should be a daily lifestyle, not just something we do when things are going well. Singing this song was not just about vocals; it was about expressing thanksgiving from my heart.
I also want to give a big shout-out to ChatGPT, who helped me put this write-up together clearly and neatly. Another shout-out goes to CapCut, which helped me edit and present my video better.
